After the grand opening of Inspire Life, my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to the cabin for some R & R. What better way to kill some time than to watch old Disney movies on VHS.
My first pick - Alice in Wonderland.
The more I watched, the more I began to think,
“Man this rabbit is stressed out! And where is he going in such a hurry anyway?
Boy, doesn’t that sound familiar?
So what does time have to do with our health and chiropractic?
When we worry, hurry, and rush, our body and nervous system begins to think we’re being chased by tigers (even if we’re simply answering emails). We move from rest and healing, to the “fight, flight, or freeze” response and thus limiting our ability to heal, use energy properly, recover, or function at our best.
Unfortunately, most of us get stuck here and never fully return to a proper healing, healthy state.
At Inspire Life, we help by initially calming down the body through gentle adjustments along the nervous system to allow your body to adapt, release stress, and heal more effectively so you can do what you love at %100 (without all those perceived tigers, of course).
