What’s even worse - the same bodily symptoms appeared 3 consecutive years after that (Yes, at Christmas time again). Top it off with spring time allergies, ear infections, and later on. some of the worst menstrual cycles one could ever imagine.
I remember laying on my bedroom floor moaning in pain, accepting that this was NORMAL…that all women deal with this, that it’s part of being a female, that my body is just “messed up” and I’ll have to live with it for life.
And then one morning things started to shift - starting with my MINDSET.
I woke up one day and said, “Enough of this - I desire AND deserve so much more when it comes to my health.”
I wasn’t willing to accept the common challenges that most Americans suffer from every day.
The changes didn’t happen over night. I slowly began to learn that my body was capable of so much more, that symptoms although common, are not necessarily normal. I began to see them as signs from my body telling me to do something different.
I began getting my spine and nervous system checked for excess stress. I started eating better, doing more yoga, meditating, and focusing on the positive aspects of my life.
Most importantly, I started to love myself and the person I saw in the mirror every day.
I had found a new normal that felt free and in control of my health choices.
At Inspire Life, we desire this for all of our practice members - empowering them in their health choices rather than blindly taking life by chance.
Love yourself, give yourself what you truly deserve, and as always, keep inspiring!
