How to create a Kick-BUTT immune system, NATURALLY

Whether you are watching this during the COVID-19 (aka Corona Virus) pandemic (spring 2020) OR you are simply looking for ways to boost your immune system naturally, we assure you this video will help!

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been sweeping the globe, causing panic and turmoil among communities and nations. Medical professionals are working diligently to find proper means of addressing the virus to help those affected. No vaccine has been created, yet, so other means are being used. Here are some key points to keep in mind as you prepare for a potential pandemic, as well as basic tips to keep your immunity high all the time.

One strategy that has been tossed around is the use of antibiotics. While antibiotics are great at killing off bacteria, their effectiveness when it comes to viral infections is essentially none. Also, keep in mind that we have a microbiome of bacteria that helps our body function. When we take antibiotics, they kill off the good guys as well, which can lead to a myriad of issues. Essentially, antibiotics are NOT a good option for addressing COVID-19 directly. However, they may be prescribed to treat pneumonia induced by COVID-19. When it comes to overall body and immune function, be aware of what antibiotics you are taking and how frequently.

Something to keep in mind is you and your family’s risk factors when it comes to the lethality of the virus. At this time, roughly 97% of those who have contracted the virus have recovered (based upon an estimated 1-4% mortality rate). Keep in mind this is confirmed cases, and that each country has a different method of determining cases. For example, South Korea has been doing the most extensive testing, at 10,000 tests per day. Other countries, such as Japan and the United States, have not done nearly as much testing, so the number of cases may be higher than the numbers being reported in the media. To the right is a chart via Science Alert showing the numbers of testing being done in specific countries.

The risk factors for increased lethality from COVID-19 include at risk populations (elderly and children), those who smoke, and people who have chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease. If you experience any of these conditions, is may be wise to take extra precautions to avoid sickness, such as avoiding crowds and staying home. Ultimately, we know this virus is traveling fast, whether the numbers reflect it or not, so being proactive for you and your family’s sake is always a good idea.

Another aspect of the outbreak to be cognizant of is the media’s portrayal of what is happening and the role of fear around the disease. When our brains perceive stimuli that could harm us and invoke fear, it releases chemicals like adrenaline and cortisol, which in turn lower the function of our immune systems. Be weary of the sources of information when it comes to the COVID-19, and be diligent in recognizing truth and keeping your energetic frequency in a space of vitality.

So, with all the murmuring, fear, and uncertainty around the COVID-19, what can be do to make sure we stay healthy and well through the chaos? Below are a few strategies you can implement starting now.

  1. Sleep. Quality sleep and rest is where true healing happens. Our bodies recover and rebuild while we rest and digest, so make sure your sleep remains un-compromised to allow your body the time to recover fully each day.

  2. Keep Moving. Your body’s metabolism is boosted when you move, creating the opportunity for your body to cycle through old and damaged cells and create new, healthy cells. Even a brisk walk can do wonders for your health and immunity!

  3. Support Your Gut. Much of our immune system function is tied to gut health. Doing things to promote a healthy gut will improve

  4. Proper Nourishment. Eating healthy foods is one of the best ways to improve gut health. Avoid inflammatory foods like sugar and processed foods, and eat nutrient dense, whole foods with antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals to support overall bodily function. Nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables, eggs, organic meats, and probiotics will all help you stay healthy. Elderberries are GREAT for immune function!

  5. Nervous System Support. The nervous system is the master control system of the body, so getting checked can help you address ant stressors that come about. Chiropractic adjustments have been shown to directly increase immune system function.

Above all else, being proactive in times of crisis will lead to success and thriving. It is of utmost importance to listen to your body and do what is being called. Projects and work deadlines may seem to be the top priority, but if it is going to drive you in to the ground, the detriments will be tenfold. Take the time you need to make sure you are at full function so you can keep living your most inspired and thriving live. We are here for you to support you and your health needs now and in the future.

Peace, Love, and Keep Inspiring 🙂
