🍺It’s increased alcohol consumption (𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴)
🎅🏾It’s (potential) religious/family trauma season
All which equate to higher demands on a probably already taxed immune & nervous system from the year.
But companies can’t profit off of that…unless you package it into a bottle or syringe and sell it to the masses 🙀
𝗦𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝙛𝙡𝙪? 𝗢𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝙔𝙊𝙐?
We don’t say this to sound harsh or cruel…but to wake you up to the healing power that you STILL have access to even in the shifting seasons.
Here are some ways you can be mindful of your biology this season ❄️
𝟭. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝘂𝗻 ☀️ 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻. Bundle up, get outside, and get that sun on your face even in the winter! This is the BEST way to amplify your immune system via Vitamin D straight from the sun. 𝟮. 𝗕𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Sugar = inflammation = increased cortisol = decreased immune response = increased susceptibility to stress aka viral responses.
𝟯. 𝗗𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 🎭. Get clear on your values and WHY you choose to celebrate the way you do. Is it something that brings you fulfillment with those you love? OR does it feel like stress and obligation. Check in and be real with yourself.
𝟰. 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 😴 sleep is the #1 way to amplify your recovery ❤️🩹 both in your physical body and your immune system.
